It’s been a tough start to the new season for José Mourinho and Manchester United.

After two defeats from three Premier League games, the latest of which a 3-0 Old Trafford thumping at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur, the Portuguese tactician is the current bookmakers’ favourite to be the next top-flight manager to leave his post.

Even United’s one win of the campaign so far, 2-1 against Leicester City on the opening weekend, wasn’t especially impressive and there are rumblings of discontent emanating from the Red Devils’ dressing room.
