Stuffed with turkey, potatoes and various types of chocolate, nothing compares to Boxing Day in the Premier League to continue the festive cheer.

We were treated with goals aplenty and some interesting results across the nine fixtures.

Manchester City failed to bounce back, dealt a surprise defeat at the King Power stadium as Leicester City came from behind to win 2-1.

The red half of Manchester are on cloud nine after Ole Gunner Solskjær kept the good times rolling with a 3-1 win over Huddersfield.

Everton and Spurs both hit five, but Liverpool were the big winners, dispatching a toothless Newcastle United side and extending their lead over the reigning champions to seven points.

Before we head into the next set of fixtures, we’ve picked out our team of the week based on the Boxing Day games. Have a look at the video above and let us know on social media who we missed, or if you agree.
