Gameweek 17 is here, so FW: Fantasy is back with three tips to give you the edge over your mates in the ever-competitive FPL stakes.

So who should you bring in? West Brom are still waiting for a revival under Alan Pardew and, having scored just four goals away from home all season, the joint third lowest in the Premier League, we reckon that there are points to be had in the Liverpool defence.

The Reds’ backline has hardly been reliable this season, but don’t let that put you off. It’s all about looking for value in the right places and Jurgen Kloop’s side has that.

There are also points to be had in Manchester City‘s back-four.

They travel to a Swansea City side that has managed just five goals at home all season and are struggling near the foot of the table.

And after shipping goals to Manchester United, West Ham United, Southampton and Huddersfield Town in their last four, it’s about time Pep Guardiola’s side picked up a clean sheet.

And finally, there’s a chance to ride the wave of a Manchester United reaction in the form of a cheap attacking midfielder.

Jose Mourinho ought to have his troops fired up after their home defeat – and subsequently tunnel fracas – to the noisy neighbours, and you could capitalise given the Red Devils are looking at eight consecutive Premier League games without having to face another member of the top six.

We’ll be back on Friday ahead of Gameweek 18 to bring you more tips and hints to give you the edge over your mates.
