Every day Football Whispers pore over Europe’s major news outlets in search of the latest transfer reports relating to your club.

We then assess the reliability of the rumours, determine the likelihood of the moves, and analyse where the potential signings would fit in.

Today we bring you the latest on Álvaro Morata, Manchester United’s interest in Gareth Bale and Nemanja Matić’s possible Chelsea departure.

Morata Departure Still Possible

Chelsea transfer target Álvaro Morata could still leave Real Madrid this summer. He was expected to join Manchester United but the £75million deal to take Romelu Lukaku to Old Trafford ended the Red Devils’ interest.

However, all is not lost for the Spaniard, with AC Milan still keen say Marca. The Italians are keen to bring in one more forward despite the arrival of Andre Silva.

The Rossoneri have been linked with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang too and Vincenzo Montella could land his man if Morata fancies a return to Serie A after two goal-laden seasons at Juventus.

Bale not interested in England return

Another Real Madrid star, Gareth Bale, has been a Manchester United transfer target for several transfer windows.

Yet, the Welshman has openly stated that he expects to remain at the Bernabéu, saying: “I signed a long contract…and I am happy [at] this club”.

According to Marca, Zinedine Zidane’s preference is to keep the BBC together, hence Morata is allowed to leave. The former Tottenham Hotspur winger is contracted to Real until 2022, making a departure either very unlikely or very expensive.

At 28 there is little in the way of re-sale value, so United would be spending more than €100million on him firing you too glory. Which, right now, is too expensive for what José Mourinho is trying to build.

Swansea going Spanish again

Having already secured the signature of Roque Mesa, Swansea City could make a second trip to Las Palmas this summer and have been linked with a move for midfielder Jonathan Viera.

The Spanish side parted with their player easily, though, and have already rejected a €25million offer. The Swans will have to meet his reported €30million release clause say Marca.

Perhaps this is a move the Welsh side pursue once if and when they part with Gylfi Sigurðsson. They would roughly spend half that gained fee on signing another midfielder.

The 27-year-old picked up seven goals and nine assists last term. Not up there with the Icelandic playmaker, but enough to show he could be an adequate replacement.

Juventus Eye Premier League Duo

Juventus transfer targets

Juventus are keen to add a physical presence to their midfield and are looking to the Premier League with this in mind.

Chelsea’s Nemanja Matić and Liverpool’s Emre Can are both targets for the Italian champions, though Paris Saint-Germain’s Blaise Matuidi could be an alternative, say Corriere dello Sport.

After losing Leonardo Bonucci and Dani Alves this summer, the Bianconeri are hoping to bring some steel to the midfield to compensate. Can would be the younger option, but the other two offer more in the way of experience.

Matuidi and Matić are both surplus to requirements at their clubs – unlike the German, who Jürgen Klopp found a useful role for last season.

Inter Milan find Perišić replacement

It’s the news that Manchester United fans had been hoping for. Inter Milan seemingly finding their replacement for Ivan Perišić, allowing the Croatian to make his move to Old Trafford.

A day off in Milan for Lazio winger Keita Balde Diao sparked rumours of a possible deal with the Nerazzuri. That followed reports Manchester United had agreed a £40million fee with Inter for Perišić.

The Croatian international contributed to 22 goals for Inter last season and Inter will plow €22million of that fee into signing Keita to plug the gap left behind.

Manchester United continue Aurier chase

Rumours of a possible move for Serge Aurier continue this week after he was left out of the Paris Saint-Germain squad for their pre-season tour.

The Manchester United transfer target could be allowed to leave Paris after they finalised a deal to sign Dani Alves on a free.

L’Equipe suggest Mourinho is still interested in the Ivorian right-back, despite Antonio Valencia signing a new deal. Defensively, the 24-year-old would be an upgrade.

First choice last term, the former Toulouse defender made 22 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG, adding three assists. He is able to play right wing-back in a 3-5-2 and as a centre-back, making him an ideal signing due to his flexibility.

Aurier is reaching the prime years of his career and under the guidance of the Portuguese boss, he could become one of the best in his position.
