Since it was introduced in 1992, the Premier League has become one of the most multinational division in world football.
Players from all across the globe have entertained fans up and down the country, with Belgian, Algerian, French and Dutch stars among the non-British winners of the PFA Player of the Year award.
No German has been named the Premier League’s best player but that doesn’t mean the current world champions haven’t provided stars who’ve lit up England’s top flight.
There have been 33 players who’ve made the trip from Germany to play in the Premier League at one of the top six clubs – Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. Some are a lot more memorable than others.
