On loan at Derby County, Harry Wilson endeared himself to fans of Liverpool, his parent club, when he knocked Manchester United out of the Carabao Cup with a stunning free-kick at Old Trafford earlier this season.

The winger has done so well at Pride Park, under the tutelage of Frank Lampard, that there has been talk that Liverpool may even recall him in January.

However, the more likely outcome is that he will stay and help the Rams with their bid to finish in the Championship top-six.

And Wilson will be as key Derby’s chances as anyone. He’s the player generating the most buzz in English football’s second-tier in recent weeks.
