After Manchester United started their 2019/20 Premier League campaign with a resounding 4-0 win over Chelsea, optimism quickly swelled among the Red Devils fan base.

What could this young and exciting side achieve? With Ole Gunnar Solskjær at the wheel after a summer tune-up, were United finally back?

Three games later and expectations have been dampened somewhat. There were frustrating draws against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton while defeat to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford was a bitter pill to swallow.

The tactical and personnel changes made by Solskjær appear to be paying off, however. It’s just United’s results are not matching their performances and the chances they’re creating.
