After the crushing disappointment of last weekend’s defeat to Tottenham Hotspur – a loss that almost certainly ensures Chelsea can’t qualify for next season’s Champions League – the Blues have to rouse themselves for another London derby.

West Ham United will this time be the visitors to Stamford Bridge and with the Irons fighting for Premier League survival David Moyes’ side will not be lacking for motivation.

Chelsea may, however. So it’s Antonio Conte’s job to ensure his players finish the season strongly and push Spurs as far as they can. It’s better to try but fail than to never have tried at all.

Thibaut Courtois and Pedro are fit after missing the loss against Tottenham while Davide Zappacosta could come in for the out of form Victor Moses. David Luiz and Ethan Ampadu are long-term absentees but Ross Barkley could return to the squad having appeared for the Under-23s earlier this week.

Our unique algorithm has predicted the Blues side it believes will start the game.
