Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp will be looking to get one over best man David Wagner who brings his Huddersfield Town side to Anfield on Saturday.

Wagner, who won promotion to the Premier League with the Terriers against all expectations last season, played with club at Mainz and was his best man when the former Borussia Dortmund coach tied the knot.

After suffering a humbling 4-1 defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, Klopp will be desperate to avoid further embarrassment – and the loss of any bragging rights – against his close friend and former team-mate.

The Liverpool manager has some big decisions to make and plenty of issues to deal with following the loss at Spurs.

He is likely to make a number of changes to his side after their poor showing in the last outing, and will still be without key players Sadio Mané and Adam Lallana.

Joe Gomez could move to centre back in place of Dejan Lovren, who was hapless at Wembley, with Trent Alexander-Arnold coming in at right back.

Simon Mignolet‘s place in goal is also thought to be under threat, and one of Danny Ward or Loris Karius could come in to replace the Belgian stopper who was far from convincing in the 4-1 defeat.

Our unique algorithm has predicted the Liverpool side it believes is most likely to start.

Football Whispers uses data to predict the starting line-ups for sides by accounting for a number of different factors, including injuries, suspensions, the statistical likelihood to play, the match the competition is played, the player’s previous performance and the style of the opposition.

But you can also give it a go yourself. Just click ‘create your own’ on the line-up at the top of the page and pick the XI players you would choose, and you can also see their stats once you’ve picked them.
