At last, we know that no more Vanarama National League football will be played this season after the league’s board announced a majority of clubs had voted to end the season immediately.

Teams in the National League, National League North and National League South have until May 7 to cast their vote. But with 90 per cent of votes already cast the outcome cannot change and the 2019/20 campaign is over for Step One and Step Two clubs.

Join Will Evans and Tom Bodell for the latest episode of Conference Call as they pick apart this announcement and try to work out what comes next. Will clubs be promoted and relegated and, if so, how will it be worked out?

There’s plenty left to be decided and Football Whispers’ resident non-league experts have put their heads together to try to pick over the bones of the 2019/20 National League season.

Also on this week’s episode of Conference Call, Will and Tom compile their composite National League Team of the Year. Who makes the cut, and who misses out? The only way to find out is to listen to this week’s episode!
