It’s a time of highs and lows for Vanarama National League clubs – even if there isn’t actually any football being played.

Teams in the playoff mix may face the prospect of a return to action to decide the league’s second promotion place, while possible relegation is on the cards for the division’s lowest ranked sides.

So in order to make sense of everything happening in the top tier of non-league football, two men at the heart of everything going on joined us on Conference Call.

Barnet No.1 and former England Under-21 keeper Scott Loach provided some perspective on the battle to win promotion to EFL League Two, while Maidenhead United chairman Peter Griffin discussed the challenges facing sides at the opposite end of the table.
