Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool: Combined XI

Two sides with Premier League title ambitions face off tomorrow lunchtime as Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur welcome Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

The game was originally scheduled to be Spurs’ first game at their new White Hart Lane home; however, work to the stadium has overrun so the match will be held at Wembley.

Tottenham go into the game on the back of a disappointing defeat to Watford prior to the international break. The Hornets claimed a 2-1 victory at Vicarage Road and brought Spurs back down to earth after their famous win at Old Trafford against Manchester United.

For Liverpool it’s been a smooth start to the campaign. Klopp’s side have taken four victories from four matches and have conceded just the one goal.

However, they haven’t yet faced a side with the attacking talents of Tottenham, who won this fixture 4-1 last season.

Both sides are blessed with an abundance of talent, but who makes the cut into our combined XI?
