Aaron Lennon

Aaron Lennon is an attacking midfielder who currently plays for Burnley. Born in Leeds on 16th April 1987, Lennon joined the youth set-up at hometown club Leeds United and became the Premier League’s then youngest ever player when he debuted on 23rd August 2003. Following Leeds’ relegation and financial difficulties, Lennon was sold to Tottenham Hotspur for £1million in July 2005, for whom he made 364 appearances, which included a League Cup triumph in 2008. After falling down the pecking order at White Hart Lane, Lennon joined Everton on loan for the second half of the 2014/15 season before signing permanently on Merseyside for £4m on the final day of the 2015 summer transfer window. Lennon has over 20 caps at international level and was included in the England squads for the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups.
