Abdou Traoré

Abdou Traoré is a Malian midfielder who plays for . After playing for CO Bamako in his home country, he joined Bordeaux’s training camp in 2006. Still not a professional, he made his debut for the club against Panionios in the 2007 UEFA Cup. He was loaned to OGC Nice for the 2010/11 and played 23 times before returning to Bordeaux. Never quite been able to establish himself as a first-team starter, in five seasons he played no more than 17 times in a campaign. A Mali international, but made his debut in 2009 against Angola and played in the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations. While at Bordeaux he won the 2009 Ligue 1 title and Coupe de la Ligue, plus the 2013 Coupe de France.
