Abu Ogogo

Born on 3rd April 1989, Abu Ogogo is a former England youth international defensive midfielder who currently plays for Bristol Rovers. Originally from Surrey, Ogogo joined the youth set-ups as Wimbledon and Fulham before being signed to the Arsenal academy in 2006. Having been converted from an attacker to a defensive midfielder, able to deputise at right full-back, he signed a professional deal with the Gunners in 2007 – making his senior debut while on loan at Barnet in November 2008. He signed for Dagenham & Redbridge, where he would make 253 appearances for the club, many as captain, during a six-year stay in East London, before joining Shrewsbury Town on a free transfer in June 2015.
