Adam Bogdan

Adam Bogdan is a Hungarian goalkeeper, born on 27th September 1987, who plays for Hibernian. Bogdan started his career in Hungary with Vasas SC, who loaned him out to Vecses in 2006. His spell with Vecses saw him impress the Bolton Wanderers scouts and moved to the Lancashire club in August 2007. Spending his first few seasons as a backup option, Bogdan struggled for minutes until the 2011-12 season where he took advantage of an opportunity and became first choice. The Hungarian stopper earned a free transfer to Liverpool in June 2015, again rarely playing for the first team. He joined Wigan Athletic on loan in summer 2016. Bogdan made his full debut for the Hungarian national side in 2011.
