Adam Larsen Kwarasey

Adam Larsen Kwarasey is a Norwegian born Ghanaian international goalkeeper currently playing for Vålerenga. Kwarasey was born in Oslo on December 12th 1987 to a Norwegian mother and Ghanaian father. He played his youth football for Valerenga but moved to Stromsgodset to make his professional debut. Kwarasey was captain in 2013 when Stromsgodset won the title for the first time since 1970. He was also awarded goalkeeper of the year for this season. Once his contract expired in 2014 Kwarasey was to take on a new challenge, heading off to the MLS for two seasons playing for Portland Timbers. He returned to Norway and Rosenborg in 2016. Kwarasey played once for Norway U21’s before choosing to play his international football for Ghana, making his debut in September 2011.
