Adama Diomande

Adama Diomande is a Norwegian international striker who plays club football for Los Angeles Football Club. Born in Oslo on 14th February 1990, Diomande played for five clubs in his homeland: Valerenga, Lyn, Skeid, Stabaek and Stromsgodset – scoring eight times in 25 appearances en route to winning the Tippeligaen championship with the latter in 2013. Two months with Belarusian side Dinamo Minsk and a month with Dubai CSC between January and March 2015 preceded a return to Stabaek and then a move to Hull City for £1.7m on summer transfer deadline day 2015, although groin surgery cut short his first season with the Tigers, in which the club won promotion to the Premier League. Diomande elected to represent the country of his birth, Norway, rather than that of his parents, Ivory Coast, and made his international debut June 2015 in a 0-0 draw with Azerbaijan.
