Akihiro Ienaga

Akihiro Ienaga, born on 13th June 1986, is a Japanese footballer who plays for Kawasaki Frontale. The midfielder came up through the youth ranks of Gamba Osaka and made his J.League debut in 2004, coming to the attention of clubs for his part in Gamba’s 2005 J.League title triumph. After loans out to Oita Trinita and Cerezo Osaka, Spanish side Mallorca swooped for his signature. Ienaga played there for a season before his stint was cut short by further loans back to Asia with Ulsan Hyundai and Gamba Osaka, before he landed permanently on the books of Omiya Ardija in 2014.
