Aleksandar Kolarov

Aleksandar Kolarov is a Serbian left-back, born on 10th November 1985, who plays for Roma. Kolarov started his career in Red Star Belgrade’s academy, but he never broke through to the first team, so the Serbian moved to Cukaricki at the age of 18. After suffering relegation, Kolarov left Cukaricki to join OFK Belgrade in February 2006. Spending just over a year with OFK Belgrade, Kolarov left the club in 2007 to join Lazio. His overlapping runs and powerful shot attracted the attention of Real Madrid whilst at Lazio, but Kolarov eventually joined Manchester City in July 2010. He was a regular member of the team as they won the Premier League in 2012 and 2014. The left-back made his debut for the Serbian senior team in 2008 and represented his country at the 2010 World Cup.
