Alfie Mawson

Alfie Mawson is an English defender who currently plays for Fulham. Born in Hillingdon on January 19, 1994, Mawson joined Reading’s academy aged nine and stayed with the Royals until he was aged 15. In 2010 joined Brentford on a two-year scholarship. He made his senior debut in August 2013 in a League Cup tie against Derby County. He remained with the Bees for three years as a professional, however most of his time was spent out on loan. Mawson signed for Barnsley on a three-year deal in 2015 but, after one season with the Tykes and having won the Football League Trophy and promotion to the Championship, he joined Premier League side Swansea City.
