Allan McGregor

Allan McGregor is a Scottish international goalkeeper who currently plays for Rangers. Born on 31st January 1982, McGregor made his way through the youth ranks at Rangers in 2002, making the first of 250 appearances for the club. Loan spells at St Johnstone and Dunfermline followed before he established himself as the Gers’ first-choice keeper – for whom he won three Scottish Premier League titles, three Scottish Cups and five Scottish League Cups. In 2007/8 he played in all but four matches of Rangers’ to the UEFA Cup final against Zenit St Petersburg, which he missed through injury. He joined Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas in July 2013 before moving to Hull City a year later for £1.5m. The experienced stopper started the Tigers’ 2014 FA Cup final 3-2 loss against Arsenal, and he was a regular during the 2015/16 Championship promotion campaign. McGregor has over 30 caps for Scotland.
