Allan Nyom

Allan Nyom is a Cameroon international defender who currently plays for Getafe. The experienced right full-back signed for West Bromwich Albion for £4m from Watford of the final day of the 2016 summer transfer window. Born on 10th May 1988 in France, he began his career in the French lower leagues with AC Arles-Avignon during 2008/09 season but was spotted by the Pozzo family and would go on to play for three Pozzo-owned clubs. Signed by Serie A side Udinese in July 2009, he was loaned to Granada for six seasons between 2009 and 2015 – making over 200 appearances in Spain. In July 2015 he joined Watford on a free transfer, playing in the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Crystal Palace at Wembley. Nyom has over 10 caps for Cameroon and represented his country at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
