Alou Diarra

Alou Diarra is a French midfielder who currently plays for . His professional debut would come in 1999 for Louhans-Cuiseaux while they played in the second division. Spotted by Bayern Munich the defensive midfielder would move to Germany, but moved to Liverpool without playing a game for the senior side. Diarra would spend all his time on loan at Le Havre, SC Bastia and RC Lens. The latter would sign him permanently in 2005, impressing enough that Lyon pounced a year later. Capped at youth level by France, he won his first senior cap in 2004 and went on to play at the 2006 and 2010 World Cup, then the 2012 European Championships. After a lengthy spell at Bordeaux, where he won a league and cup double, he would play for Marseille, West Ham United, Rennes and Charlton Athletic before joining Nancy in 2016.
