Andrés Guardado

Andres Guardado is a Mexican central midfielder, born on 28th September 1986, who is currently signed to Real Betis. After an impressive start to his professional career, at Atlas, Guardado became the then-most expensive Mexican player in history following a €7m move to Deportivo La Coruna. After five successful years at the club, Valencia acquired his services. Following a short-term loan to German club Bayer Leverkusen, Guardado joined PSV on a season-long loan in 2014-15. Having won over the fans and management alike, Phillip Cocu completed a permanent deal in the summer of 2015.
