Angel Gomes

Angel Gomes is an English attacking midfielder who currently plays for Manchester United. Born in London on August 31, 2000, Gomes joined Manchester United’s academy aged six. In 2013, he signed his first formal contract and represented the under-17 team, aged 13, at a tournament in Slovakia. In August 2016 he became the youngest player to score a hat-trick for United’s academy side since 2001. He made his senior debut in May 2017, replacing Wayne Rooney in a 2-0 home win against Crystal Palace. Gomes has captained England at various youth levels.
