Arturo Mina

Arturo Mina is an Ecuadorian centre back, born in Río Verde on the 8th October 1990, who plays for Yeni Malatyaspor. Mina made his professional debut for UTE in 2010, and moved to Macará in 2012[SK1] . Impressive performances there brought a move to the upwardly mobile young club Independiente Del Valle, where after two-and-a-half impressive years he was one of the stars of a surprising run to the Copa Libertadores final. His performances led to interest from Argentine giants River Plate, to whom he moved in mid 2016, with River paying about US$2.7m for 70% of his rights. Mina is an Ecuador international and won the Recopa Sudamericana – the first trophy of his career – shortly after joining River.
