Aymen Abdennour

Aymen Abdennour is a Tunisian centre-back who plays for Kayserispor. Born on 6th August 1989, Abdennour spent his youth career at Etoile du Sahel before he was promoted to the first team. During his first season at the club, he scored five league goals although they missed out on the title and finished third. In January 2010, Abdennour signed a half-year loan deal with Werder Bremen, however the club didn’t take up the option to sign him permanently. In the summer of 2011, Abdennour signed a four-year contract with the Ligue 1 side Toulouse. The following campaign, Toulouse extended his contract, tying the Tunisian to a deal running until 2016. On 31 January 2014, Abdennour joined the league rivals Monaco on a loan deal and after impressing the club, he signed a four-year deal with Monaco during the summer. After a fantastic season with Monaco, In August 2015, Abdennour signed a five-year deal until 2020 with La Liga side Valencia CF for an undisclosed fee. The centre-back has also completed over 40 appearances for his country.
