Bakary Koné

Bakary Kone is a Burkinabe central defender, who plays for Arsenal Tula and was born 27th April 1988. Powerful central defender Kone, signed his first pro contract for French club Etoile Filante in 2005 however, he quickly moved on to Guingamp just one year later. At Guingamp the Burkina Faso international played 129 games, his form was so impressive for them he joined Lyon in 2011 for a fee of €3.8 million. Winning the Coupe de France in his first year, Kone went onto play for Lyon until 2016 where he signed for Malaga for €700,000. Kone has represented his country 61 times but is yet to score a goal for them.
