Brendon Moloney

Brendon Moloney is a former Republic of Ireland international defender who plays for . Born on 18th January 1989, Moloney joined English football with Nottingham Forest as a teenager – making his debut in League One in March 2007. From there his path to senior further football led him to loan spells at Chesterfield, Scunthorpe United and city rivals Notts County between 2007 and 2010. On his return to the City Ground he was part of the Forest squad that reached the 2010/11 Championship play-offs before time at Bristol City and Yeovil Town. He signed for Northampton Town as a free agent in February 2015 and made 25 league appearances during the club’s 2015/16 League Two title-winning season. Moloney was first capped by the Republic of Ireland U21’s in February 2009.
