Cheikh M’Bengue

Cheikh M’Bengue is a Senegalese international defender who plays for and was born in France on 23rd July 1988. Joining his hometown club, Toulouse, in 1996, he made his senior debut in 2007. With just 12 months left on his contract, the left-back, despite interest from Sunderland and Besiktas, signed for Stade Rennais. After three years in Brittany, he decided to leave and join Saint-Etienne on a free transfer. Capped at Under-21 level by France, he would make his debut for Senegal in 2011.
