Cristian Lema

Cristian Lema is an Argentine centre back, born on the 24th March 1990, who plays for Newell’s Old Boys. He started out as a professional for local club Guillermo Brown of Puerto Madryn, then of the Torneo Argentino A (third division), in 2007, and moved to Primera División club Newell’s Old Boys in 2010. At the start of 2011 he was loaned to Tigre, where he was used as a backup player, before he joined Quilmes on a free transfer in July 2012. There, he gained more regular top flight football for the first time, and in July 2014 he signed for Belgrano.
