Daley Blind

Daley Blind is a Dutch defender or midfielder, born on 9th March 1990, who plays for Ajax. Blind began his career at Ajax, where his father had also played, and earned promotion to the first team in the 2008-09 season. Having worked his way through the youth teams at Ajax, Blind made his debut in December 2008. However, he spent the second half of the 2009-10 season out on loan at Groningen, before returning to Ajax and winning four consecutive Eredivisie titles. Whilst at Ajax, Blind developed significantly as a player, learning how to play anywhere across the defence as well as in central midfield. In August 2015, however, the Dutchman joined Manchester United. Blind followed in his father’s footsteps to national team level as well, making his debut for the senior team in 2013.
