Daniel Georgievski

Daniel Georgievski, born on 17th February 1988, is a Macedonian international full-back who plays for Western Sydney Wanderers FC. Georgievski represented Macedonia at various youth levels before winning his first senior international cap against Russia during a Euro 2012 qualifying match in September 2011. The defender spent a short amount of time in the youth academy of Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb but was soon sent NK Medimurje in 2007 who he was relegated from the top flight with in 2010. He then moved to fellow Croatian side HNK Sibenik before joining one of the Romania’s top clubs, Steaua Bucharest. Whilst there, Georgievski won two league titles and a domestic cup trophy before joining Melbourne Victory in 2014. He is considered an important member of the first team at Victory where he’s won the A-League and FFA Cup in 2015. In June 2015, Georgievski signed a two-year extension to his contract.
