Daniel James

Daniel James is a Welsh winger who plays for Manchester United. Born in Kingston upon Hull on November 10, 1997, James began his career with local side Hull City before moving to Swansea City in 2016. Loaned to League One side Shrewsbury Town for the 2016/17 campaign, James’ deal was terminated after less than two months after he failed to make a single appearance for the Shrews. In February 2018 he made his first-team debut for Swansea in an FA Cup win. Following the Swans’ relegation to the Championship he established himself as a first-team regular with the Welsh outfit though he was close to joining Leeds United for a reported £10million in January 2019. The deal collapsed and, in the summer of 2019, Manchester United brought James – by now a full Welsh international – to Old Trafford in a £15million deal.
