Davy Klaassen

Davy Klaasen is a Dutch international, born 22nd February 1993, who is the club captain of SV Werder Bremen. The attacking midfielder joined the famed Ajax Academy from HSV Wasmeer as a young child, making his first senior appearance for the club as a late sub in a 0-0 Champions League draw away at Lyon. Since then, Klaasen has played a role in winning three Eredivisie titles and is a regular member of the Netherlands senior squad. In 2016, he was named Dutch Football of the Year, which saw his stock climb to around £12.75m.
