Diego Costa

Diego Costa is Brazilian-born forward who plays for Atlético de Madrid. Despite being born in Brazil, Costa is a Spanish international and made his debut in 2014. Costa’s career started with Braga, who loaned him out before he was sold to Atletico Madrid in 2007. Despite not making an appearance for their first team Costa had loan spells with Celta Vigo and Albacete before Atleti sold the striker to Real Valladolid in a deal with Sergio Asenjo going the other way. After just one season with Valladolid, Costa returned to Atletico Madrid in 2010 and went to Rayo Vallecano on loan in 2012, netting 10 goals in 16 appearances. He went on to star as Atletico won the La Liga title in 2014, before completing a big money move to Chelsea later that summer. Costa then won the Premier League with Chelsea in 2014-15.
