Eiji Kawashima

Eiji Kawashima is a Japanese goalkeeper who currently plays for Strasbourg. He was born on 20th March 1983 and played for various Japanese clubs before joining Lierse SK in Belgium in 2010. He featured in both the 2010 and 2014 World Cup, signing for Standard Liege in between. After losing his place in the first team, he would join Dundee United, debuting against rivals Dundee in January 2016. He was released when they club were relegated, FC Metz moved to sign the international goalkeeper.
