Erhun Oztumer

Erhun Oztumer is a London-born Turkish midfielder who plays for Charlton Athletic. The skilful, left-footed attacking midfielder/second striker signed for Walsall as a free agent in July 2016, where he was handed the No.10 shirt, which reflects his style of play – he was once dubbed ‘the Turkish Messi’ by supporters at former club Colchester United. His start in senior football came with Non-League Londoners Dulwich Hamlet, before spells with three Turkish sides, Manisaspor, Sivasspor and Anadolu Uskudar. He returned to England with Peterborough in June 2014, where he would appear more than 50 times during a two-year stay with the League One side.
