Fernando Godoy is an Argentine defensive midfielder, born on the 1st May 1990, who plays for . Godoy’s career began at Independiente, where he made his first team debut in 2009. Earning the nickname ‘The Dog’ for his tenacious harrying of opponents when they have the ball, Godoy won the Copa Sudamericana with Independiente in 2010. He moved in July 2013 to Greek club Panetolikos, and in July 2015 to Atromitos. In January 2016 he returned to Argentina, joining Godoy Cruz, and in August that year he joined Talleres de Córdoba.
