Fernando Llorente

Fernando Llorente is a Spanish forward who plays for Napoli. Llorente was born in Pamplona, Spain on February 26, 1985 and began his career at Athletic Bilbao in 1996. He spent several years at Bilbao making his way through various levels of their youth set up before being promoted into the reserves and playing in the Segunda Division. In January 2005 he made his senior debut in a 1-1 draw with Espanyol. After eight years with the Basque club he joined Juventus in 2013. However, his two-year stay in Turin saw him struggle for starts and he returned to Spain to join Sevilla for a season. In August 2016 he joined Premier League side Swansea City, scoring 15 goals in 33 appearances. On transfer deadline day in August 2017, Llorente moved to Tottenham Hotspur for an initial £12.1million.
