Filipe Gonçalves

Filipe Goncalves is a Portuguese defensive midfielder who currently plays for Oliveirense. Born on 12th August 1994, Goncalves represented seven different clubs across the top two divisions in Portugal over the course of a decade before moving to Poland ahead of the 2016/17 season. The highlights of his career in his homeland included the 2007 Ledman Liga Pro (second division) title with Leixoes, a Taca da Liga (Portuguese League Cup) win in 2008 with Setubal and Estoril’s UEFA Europa League group stages in 2013. After almost 250 career appearances the deep-lying ‘regista’ style central midfielder moved to Slask Wroclaw as a free agent in July 2016.
