Florent Balmont

Florent Balmont is a French midfielder who currently plays for Dijon and was born on 2nd February 1980. Known as a combative central midfielder he is a product of the youth setup at Lyon and won the Coupe Gambardella in 1997. After making his OL debut in 2002, he joined Toulouse on loan before making a permanent move to OGC Nice in 2004. After four seasons he joined Lille OSC, winning the Ligue 1 title in 2011. He would spend eight years at the northern club, playing over 220 games. A fan group even recorded a song about the bald midfielder.
