Francisco Cerro

Francisco Cerro is an Argentine central midfielder, born on the 9th February 1988, who plays for Defensa y Justicia. He made his debut in 2008 for Quilmes, where he grew into the first team impressively before signing for Vélez Sarsfield in August 2011. After a league title win with Vélez in 2012, the team fell away form-wise, but Cerro’s performances remained solid enough for him to earn a move to Racing Club in February 2014. At the end of that year, he won a second league title for his medal cabinet, as Racing claimed the 2014 transitional championship.
