Gabriel Zakuani is a DR Congo international defender who currently plays for Dagenham and Redbridge. Born on 31st May 1986, in Kinshasa, Zakuani moved to London as a child and would begin his senior career in the capital with Leyton Orient aged just 16 – the first of almost 350 appearances in English football (as of the start of the 2016/17 season).
