Giedrius Arlauskis

Giedrius Arlauskis is a Lithuanian international goalkeeper who currently plays club football for CFR Cluj. Signed by Watford from Steaua Bucharest on a free transfer in June 2015, the tall, athletic keeper made his Premier League debut against Aston Villa in November of that year. Born on 1st December 1987, Arlauskis began his senior career in his homeland with FK Mastis Telsiai, FK Siauliai and Unirea Urziceni; winning the Liga I title in 2008/9. His impressive form paved the way for a move to Rubin Kazan in 2010, where he was part of the squad that lifted the 2012 Russian Cup before a return to Romania with Steaua Bucharest in July 2014 – to form part of a league and cup ‘treble’-winning squad. Having appeared in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, he joined Watford on a free transfer in June 2015, spending time on loan in La Liga with Espanyol during the 2015/16 campaign. Arlauskis has over 20 caps for Lithuania since making his international debut in November 2008.
