Håkon Opdal

Hakon Opdal is a Norwegian international goalkeeper who currently plays his club football for Brann. Opdal was born in Odda on June 11th, 1982. Standing 1.87m tall, Opdal made his professional debut back in 2001 playing for Brann in the Norway FA Cup. Opdal made the goalkeeper spot his own in Brann during the 2004 season, winning the cup that season aiding them with some memorable performances. Opdal was vital again as Brann won the league title in 2007. This spell led to a short international career with Norway where he played 12 matches between 2006 and 2008. Opdal spent a decade with Brann and then moved on to Danish side SonderjyskE for a season before returning to Norwegian football and Start in 2013. Opdal even scored a goal from the half way line for Start in the 2015 season.
