Håvard Nordtveit

Havard Nordtveit is a Norwegian midfielder who plays for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. Beginning his career in his native Norway, Nordtveit became the youngest player to appear for his club, Haugesund, in 2006. In July 2007, the Norwegian signed for Arsenal for around £500,000 and he was loaned out to Salamanca, Lillestrom and FC Nuremburg between 2008 and 2010. It was at Nuremburg that Nordtveit made the transition from being a centre-half to a defensive midfielder. He moved to Borussia Monchengladbach on 30th December 2010 and became a regular starter for the German side. In May 2016, it was announced that Nordtveit would be signing for West Ham.
