Isaac Success

Isaac Success is a Nigerian youth international forward who currently plays for Watford. Born on 7th January 1996, Success joined the BJ Foundation Academy in his homeland where he was spotted by scouts from Pozzo family-owned side Udinese, and was initially enlisted in the Italian club’s youth set-up in early 2014. A loan move to Granada followed, where the powerful striker quickly progressed from the ‘B’ squad to become the club’s youngest ever first-team player, featuring over 50 times for the La Liga club. Amid interest from a host of top European clubs, including Atlético Madrid and Valencia, Watford signed the rising star for a club-record fee of £12.5m – he made his Premier League debut for the club against Arsenal in August 2016. He received his first international call-up from Nigeria in October 2016.
