Javier Gandolfi

Javier Gandolfi is an Argentine centre back, born on the 5th December 1980, who plays for Talleres de Córdoba. He made his professional debut at the age of 17 for River Plate in 1998, but after struggling to break into the first team was loaned to Talleres de Córdoba for six months in 2003, and to Arsenal de Sarandi for the 2003-04 season. After a couple of seasons of more regular appearances for River, he signed for Arsenal again in January 2006, where he would win the 2007 Copa Sudamericana. In January 2009 Gandolfi joined Mexican side Jaguares, and in July 2010 signed for Tijuana. In mid 2016, after being released by Tijuana, he rejoined Talleres, who were newly promoted into the Argentine Primera División.
